昨日、７、８年ぶりの知り合いとランチをしました。彼女とは、同じラジオ局で何年か仕事をしていた同士。互いにフリーランスで業種が違いますが、時間が経っても会いたいとお互い思い、久しぶりですが一瞬であの頃に戻り、ランチからのお茶と話が弾みました。
わたしの彼女の印象は、我慢強くて愚痴を言わない。自分で物事を決定する、芯の強い人。会わなかった間もしょっちゅう連絡をする仲、というわけではないのですが、人生の要所要所で大事な話をすることができるという人はそんなに多くない。この関係に感謝して、また次会うときにはいっぱいお話ししたいなと思いました。
I had lunch with someone. It's been 7 or 8 years since we saw. We used to work at the same radio station. She still works there. We do different things and are both freelance. Once we saw, we just started talking a lot over lunch and tea.
Her impression I have is she is patient, does not complain, and makes important decisions on her own. We didn't contact very often in the past years but can talk about what important things happen in our lives. I am grateful I have those people since there are not too many of them. I will be looking forward to seeing her again.
