子どもが、iPadの電源入らない、壊れたみたいと言って持ってきました。触ったところ、ケースが濡れている。
聞けば、お風呂場に持って行って、少しお湯が溜まっている場所に数秒落としたとのこと。猫を洗うためにお湯を張っていたらしいのですが、猫がいる場所にそもそもiPadを持っていく方がおかしい。
怒ると、ようやく自分のしたことを実感したのか、涙を浮かべ、今ならお風呂場に持って行っちゃダメなのがわかる、と。とりあえずヘアドライヤーで水分を抜き、米粒の中に入れておきましたが、１日経ってもまだ電源はつかず。さて、どうなるか。
Child brought her device saying she couldn't turn it on. I touched it and the case was wet.
Asking her why, she said she dropped it into the shallow water bathtub for a few seconds. She made a bath to bathe our cat but why does she need to bring the iPad in the first place?
I was scolding her and she started teary. She says she now understands she shouldn't have done it. We tried to dry it with the hair dryer. Left it in rice. It hasn't turned on after a night. Let's see...
