週末に自転車で浅草を通りがかると、植木市をやっていました。「お富士さんの植木市」と呼ぶそうで、毎年５月と６月の２回の週末に開いているということ。酉の市を「一の酉」と呼ぶように、お富士さんは「一の富士」と呼ぶのだそう。全く知りませんでした。
先日、オザキフラワーパークに行ってたっぷり植物を買ってきたので欲しいものあるかな、と思っていましたが、山アジサイ「藍姫」の色の美しさに一目惚れ。本当にグラデーションが美しい。通常の紫陽花よりずっと小ぶりで、可憐な姿です。
育て方は通常の紫陽花と同じだそうで、早速植え替えてたっぷりと水やりをしています。毎日花の状態を確認するのが楽しみです。
When I was cycling in Asakusa on the weekend, there was a plant fair.
Ofuji san no Uekiichi (Fuji's Plant Fair takes place two weekends in May and June. Just like we call Torinoichi "the first Tori," this event is also called "the first Fuji." I had no idea about this.
I wasn't sure if I'd want anything from the fair since I just had gone to the Ozaki Flower Park to buy enough plants, but I fell in love with wild hydrangea called Aihime. The color gradation is so beautiful and they are much smaller than regular hydrangea. Beauty of daintiness.
I replanted in a bigger flower pot. I just need to water it sufficiently just like for any other hydrangeas. It gives me a joy to see every day.
