先週末は、友人家族と八王子にある蓮正寺公園と長池公園にハイキングに行ってきました。本当は高尾山に行こうかと思っていたのですが、雪が残っているかもしれないので、上記の公園にしました。
公園という名前なので子どもたちは遊具にある公園を思い描いていた模様。実は、トレイルがある広大な敷地で、起伏もあり、翌日は軽く筋肉痛にもなりました。
家からは90分と、やはりある程度緑がある場所に行くにはこれくらい離れてないとだめですね。近くはなかったですが、今回は新しい公園を開拓できたし、子どもたちは帰りはデニーズに寄り好きなデザートも食べられたし楽しかったようです。
We went to Renshoji Park and Nagaike Park in Hachioji last weekend. We were going to go to Mount Takao, but there might be some snow left so we ended up going to the parks.
Since they are parks, the kids thought there would be some playground equipment. Not right. They were actually huge parks with trails and hills, so I had a slight sore body next day.
It's 90 minutes away from home so not so close, but I guess we need 90 minutes to go somewhere really green. I think we overall had fun since the kids enjoyed Denny's with desserts.
